The stone wall you see here was used as a line of defense during the Civil War. The line stretched all the way from Granny White Pike to Franklin Road.
This is another angle of the creek that was posted earlier. The photo was taken last summer, so all of the foliage is probably gone now.
This creek runs through parts of Oak Hill, a suburb in South Nashville. Oak Hill is completely residential with no commercial establishments, and even though it is about 10-15 minutes from Downtown, it has many serene qualities such as Radnor Lake. This is one of the wealthiest parts of Nashville.
